Mothers who have given birth before often hire a doula for their subsequent birth. Its not unusual at all! Often it is because their first experience was not what they hoped it would be and they would like for this subsequent birth to be different, more supported and more empowering. Or, its for exactly the opposite reason, and that is that their previous birth(s) went really well and they want to ensure the same experience again. This is especially true if they had a doula before and valued the experience and start to mothering.
I offer several doula packages for mothers birthing again.
Deluxe Birth Doula Package for Parents Birthing Again
Ideally suitable for parents who want to have full doula support and continuity of care all the way through their pregnancy birth and the early postnatal period.
- A free consultation in person or on the phone to decide whether I am a good match for you and your partner
- Two antenatal visits in your own home to discuss your needs in labour and to help you make a birth preference plan should you want one and help you and your partner if you have one, prepare for this birth.
- A further two antenatal sessions in your home of up to three hours each that focus on physical preparation, emotional preparation, mental preparation and energetic preparation for birth. Details here
- Phone text and email support from the time of booking until 6 weeks after your baby is born
- On-call service from 2 weeks before your ‘due date’ until the birth of your baby
- Daily contact by text email or phone from 38 weeks until your baby is born
- Continuous care and support for you and your partner throughout your entire labour and birth, at home and/or hospital
- Attendance at your home during early labour
- Attendance in hospital during established labour
- Support and physical and emotional comfort measures during labour such as visualisation, affirmation, massage, movement position changes, relaxation reminders and hydrotherapy
- Full homeopathic service during labour; all remedies provided.
- Photography or filming of aspects of the labour and birth as discussed with you
- Immediate postpartum care and breastfeeding assistance from birth until you are ready for me to leave
- Full postnatal doula service consisting of 5 postpartum follow-up visits in your home covering all your early parenting questions. Full breastfeeding support provided as well as support on sleeping and self care for you as a new mother having just given birth. Details here
This service offers 9 sessions; four antenatal sessions and five postnatal sessions. The charge for this service is €3,000, of which a non-refundable deposit of €1000 is due at booking. €1000 is due at 20 weeks from your due date and €1000 is due at 10 weeks from your due date. The full balance must be cleared by 36 weeks. This price offers a €1350 saving on the antenatal and postnatal sessions.
NOTE: €100 of the deposit is used to ensure that a second back up doula is also available for your dates at booking .

Basic Birth Doula Package for Parents Birthing Again
Particularly suited to second time mothers, who have already experienced labour and the postpartum and who had uncomplicated births the first time round and who do not need any extra support in the postpartum.
- A free consultation in person or on the phone to decide whether I am a good match for you and your partner
- Two antenatal visits in your own home to discuss your needs in labour and to help you make a birth preference plan should you want one. Including birth preparation techniques suitable for you and your partner. These sessions take place between 32 and 38 weeks depending on what suits you and your availability and time of booking
- Phone text and email support at your request from the time of booking until 6 weeks after your baby is born
- On-call service from 2 weeks before your ‘due date’ until the birth of your baby even if you go beyond 42 weeks gestation
- Daily contact by text email or phone from 38 weeks until your baby is born
- Continuous care and support for you and your partner throughout your entire labour and birth, at home and/or hospital
- Attendance at your home during early labour
- Attendance in hospital during established labour
- Support and physical and emotional comfort measures during labour such as visualisation, affirmation, massage, movement position changes, relaxation reminders and hydrotherapy
- Full homeopathic service during labour; all remedies provided.
- Photography or filming of aspects of the labour and birth as discussed with you including all images taken
- Immediate postpartum care and breastfeeding assistance from birth until you are ready for me to leave
- One postpartum follow-up visit at a time of your own choosing to talk about the birth, identify any issues, give a list of further referrals and say goodbye! Some mothers prefer to use this visit for breastfeeding support in their home within a few days of their baby’s birth
This service offers 3 sessions; two antenatal sessions and one postnatal session. The charge for this service is €1,750, of which a non-refundable deposit of €850 is due at booking. €450 is due at 20 weeks from your due date and €450 is due at 10 weeks from your due date. The full balance must be cleared by 36 weeks. This price offers a €300 saving on the antenatal and postnatal sessions.

Emergency Birth Doula Care : Krysia Lynch
If you suddenly find yourself without a birth partner or needing a doula at short notice I offer an emergency doula service. Please note this is an emergency service for people in unforeseen and unexpected circumstances, it is not a pre bookable service. Please contact me on 0877543751 and I will try to assist you as best I can.
